WE dip into fairly recent history for this week’s gallery of images from the Adver’s archives.
Much of our news space was devoted to the impending General Election which would see Tony Blair installed in Downing Street for a second time, but we still found room for an assortment of non-political stories.
These included an exhibition of stolen goods staged by the police in the hope of re-uniting items with their owners, a set of paintings handed over to Lydiard House after many years on loan there, and an Old Town pizza maker with an unusual artistic hobby.
