POLICE closed the road near the Spring Gardens car park this lunchtime while they dealt with an incident.
A number of officers and vehicles were spotted near the car park. The road was reopened the road just after 1pm.
A Wiltshire Police spokeswoman said: "We were called to the car park at Spring Gardens at around 12.10pm today due to concerns about the welfare of a man.
"Officers attended and have resolved the incident safely. The man will now be taken to a place of safety."
