A RODBOURNE man has appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court in connection with the London climate change protests.
Campaigner Tristan Strange, 37, denied a public order offence. He was bailed for the trial at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on June 28.
The Swindon man had been arrested last Monday as police attempted to break up a protest by group Extinction Rebellion, blocking Waterloo Bridge.
He was released on bail by District Judge Devinder Sandhu on the condition that he does not rejoin any protests at Oxford Circus or Waterloo Bridge.
