Firefighters rush to NHS health centre (but it was a false alarm)
FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the town centre NHS health centre this morning following reports of smoke on an upper floor.
But the smoke reports at the Islington Street centre was found to be a false alarm.
Firefighters were called at 7.52am, with crews from Stratton, Swindon and Westlea fire stations all responding to the emergency.
