POLICE released a CCTV footage of two men suspected to be involved in the brutal mugging of an 81-year old.
John McGhee was savagely attacked in Croft Road, opposite St Margaret’s Road, Swindon at approximately 11.20pm on April 22.
He was left covered in blood after muggers punched and robbed him as he was walking home from the pub.
John managed to walk home and was taken to the Great Western Hospital for treatment.
Searches of the area were conducted by officers, with the assistance of police dogs but unfortunately no offenders were located.
The footage released shows the two men walking near the Wheatsheaf pub. They then are believed to have turned into the top of Croft Road just prior to the victim.
