THE crossover phenomenon which is Hacienda Classical is coming to Westonbirt Arboretum.

Combining elements of classical and clubbing, the show has played to rapturous reviews at venues including Glastonbury, the Isle of Wight Festival and the Royal Albert Hall.

The audience at the Westonbirt show, part of the Forestry Commission’s annual Forest Live concert series, can look forward to orchestra renditions of much-loved classic club record’s from The Hacienda’s heritage, revisiting some of the hits that have proved popular with fans as well as new arrangements of seminal tracks which have been added to the evolving set.

The performances will be curated by DJ Graham Park, executive producer Peter Hook and musical director Tim Crooks.

Special guests will be K-Class, the band-dj act whose best-known tracks include Let Me Show You, So Right, What You’re Missing and Rhythm is a Mystery.

The Westonbirt gig is on Sunday, June 16, and tickets cost £38.50.
