THE Victoria in Old Town hosts 2019’s only Swindon gig by rockers StOp sToP on Saturday, May 4.

The band, who describe themselves as metal & roll, was formed by bass player and singer Jacob A.M., who says he searched for the right people in locations as Barcelona, Milan and Los Angeles, where he lived in a van near legendary music venue the Whiskey A Go Go.

Initial success in Barcelona, which they regard as their home city, encouraged StOp sToP to head for the UK in search of a higher profile, and the band has since played throughout Europe and in the US.

Their fourth and latest album is Get Selfied, and the band’s website is stopstoptheband.com

Support on Saturday will come courtesy of Twisted State of Mind, who have been playing their own brand of high energy hard rock on both sides of the Atlantic for five years. The doors open at 8.30pm for a 9pm start and tickets are priced at £5.

The can be obtained by visiting the venue or at thevicswindon.com

The show is for over-18s only.
