A SWINDON journalist who died after being hit by a train will be 'sorely missed' by her colleagues.
Kelly Jobanputra, 39, from Priory Vale, worked at the British Computing Society before her death on the railway lines between Swindon and Didcot Parkway on Friday.
A spokesman for the society said: “It is with huge sadness that we have learned of the tragic and untimely loss of our much-loved colleague, Kelly Jobanputra.
“Kelly worked in group marketing and although Kel, as she was known to us, had only been with BCS for a comparatively short period of time, she had made a huge impression not only on those who she worked with directly, but with anyone she came in to contact with.
“She was a bubbly, lively and immensely warm colleague, who threw her whole self into her work.
“Kel will be sorely missed by all staff, and our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Kel’s husband, family and friends at this time.”
Her family told the Advertiser they were devastated by her death.
An inquest into Mrs Jobanputra’s death will be held at a later date yet to be confirmed.
