THE public have helped police in the hunt for a flasher in the the Savernake Forest near Marlborough.
Following information from members of the public a man from Wales was arrested.
They said the 42-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody in Melksham Police Station after a number of reports of a man indecently exposing himself to women in Savernake Forest.
On Thursday May 2, 2019, questioned the man but and subsequently they released him under investigation.
The police said: "We would like to thank the witnesses and members of public who have already come forward and supported our investigation.
"Our enquiries continue and we ask anyone who has not yet come forward with information to contact PC Tom Crabtree on 101 quoting reference 54190030335."
