Madness of giving contract to Huawei

Is it just me? Am I the only one who believes our Prime Minister is stark staring mad?

She listens to nobody, Perhaps she is deaf? Or just a know all.

Not only has she trashed the whole Brexit idea she now want to jeopardize our security by handing a large contract to I believe it is HUAWEI.

The Chinese company which is state sponsored by the Chinese government.

Now we all know that the Yanks, our allies, have decided not to allow this company to become involved in security work in the USA and also the Australian government have also outlawed it for use within the Australian security network.

These are part of the “Five Eyes Security” which comprises of The USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and ourselves the UK.

For 70 years these countries have worked and shared top secret intelligence with each other. And make no mistake they have been extremely successful.

Now Mrs May who, let’s be honest does not have a record for making the best of decisions during any part of her career, has decided to allow this company access to virtually all our security system. Does this sound like a wise move to you?

Moreover the Chinese have long used industrial espionage to try and close the gap on us. Furthermore, during any crisis in the future, Beijing could threaten to introduce malware or conduct cyber-warfare with which to blackmail our government.

Let’s be totally honest here. Who would you rather trust? The American, Australians, New Zealanders, Canadians and of course our own security services. Or the Chinese company which is fully backed up by the Chinese government?

I know where I would place my bets. And rest assured it is not with the Chinese.

Three of the Five Eyes service are former allies and a part of the commonwealth.

Meanwhile the Americans have been our allies through thick and thin, two world wars and countless other areas of conflict.

So, looking at Mrs May’s record in any position of power. Do you feel comfortable with her knowledge to make these decisions?

I know I don’t. Brexit should have been relatively easy. But just look at the foul up she has made of this.

You may well ask can she be trusted? The obvious answer is no. That applies if you are a Brexiteer or a remainer.

She has spoilt it for everyone, stupid decisions, failure to listen to people who understand the problem. Which she obviously does not. Megalomaniac tendencies!

I fear for my country, The United Kingdom and all its constituent parts.

Furthermore I love my country and want only the best for it and its people.

Is this to much for us to ask from any government?

Time for outdated lords to give up their perks

A House of Lords select committee has suggested that pensioners should be stripped of ‘outdated’ perks such as free TV licences, winter fuel payments and bus passes.

What crimes have OAP’s committed for such a mean-spirited suggestion?

Growing old?

Outdated?

These unelected leeches turn up at the House of Lords, yawn, return home and get paid £300 each time they sign in.

The sheer hypocrisy of it all!

It’s surely the out of touch House of Lords that is outdated?
