WONDERING where NOT to go for a walk with the family this Bank Holiday? These are the 13 prolific dogging sites in deepest Wiltshire.

Swinging Heaven, an adult website, has almost two dozen sites listed for the county.

Barbury Castle, an ancient hill fort just south of Swindon, is described by users of the website as the county’s “most well-known” dogging location. But there are an extra 13 hotspots listed for the sexual activity further afield in Wiltshire.

They include Red Barn Lane, Wroughton, Woodland Trust-owned Clanger Wood, near Westbury, and a layby on the A36 near Black Dog Hill, about four miles north of Warminster.

Before heading out on a family walk this Bank Holiday you may want to check the list – if you want to avoid stumbling across this kind of activity.

Dogging, sexual activity in public or watching others engage in sexual activity in public, is not banned under a specific law in the UK, but people who get caught can be charged under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 with public lewdness and indecent exposure.
