East Wichel lakes closed after police search operation
LAKES in East Wichel are expected to remain closed until tomorrow morning.
Police and Wiltshire Search and Rescue teams were earlier seen combing the lakes. The operation was believed to be in connection with the search for a missing 64-year-old Wroughton man.
A police cordon remains in place at the lakes, off East Wichel Way, this evening. It is not expected to be lifted before tomorrow.
