SEVEN large bags of cannabis have been confiscated by police officers in Broadgreen.
Swindon South Police reported the find last night and are hoping to speak to its owners.
A spokeswoman for Wiltshire Police said: “A member of the public reported a suspicious incident after spotting a man exiting the rear of an address in the Broadgreen area of Swindon.
“They had gone to investigate and discovered a significant amount of cannabis and other drugs paraphernalia hidden at the property.
“Police were called and attended the property at 7.25pm on Wednesday night to seize the items. There is nothing to suggest the homeowner had any previous knowledge of the drugs.
“Nobody has been arrested and enquiries are continuing.”
Anyone with information should call APS Mason Johnson or PS James Neighbour of the Swindon Team 2 South Community Policing Team on 101.
