Pets at Home Swindon will be supporting Blue Cross Burford, as part of a collaboration with Support Adoption For Pets and their Charity of the Year initiative.

The store will host a fundraising appeal throughout 2019, which begins with an in-store summer fundraiser between May 17 to June 13.

Craig Timbrell, store manager at Pets at Home Swindon said: “We’re delighted to be raising money for Blue Cross Burford this year, and hope that the people of Swindon will get involved and support us on our fundraising mission."

A range of activities will be taking place, with Pets at Home customers able to interact with the rescue centre team, and donate either at store tills, or via the Support Adoption For Pets website.

Support Adoption For Pets is asking Pets At Home stores to raise £500,000.

Amy Wilson, Fundraising Manager for Support Adoption For Pets, said: “Even the smallest of donations can make a huge difference to a pet rescue centre."
