MILITARY displays, marching cadets and dancing morris men will be among the highlights of this year's Swindon Armed Forces Day.
The annual event marks the contribution made by the British armed forces.
Held at the GWR Park on Saturday, June 22, the event will begin at 11am with a gun salvo.
Local army cadets will be doing a marching display, Chippenham Morris Men will dance during the day and festival-goers can also enjoy martial arts and fitness displays.
The Garrison Volunteers, the Dorset Regiment Living History Group, the Royal Wessex Yeomanry and cadet groups will show off their military skills.
The Swindon Morris Minors owners' club and Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust will also be at the event.
