WILTSHIRE police are looking for witnesses after a teenager was slashed in the head in Stratton

The 15-year-old boy was savagely attacked by a group of approximately 10 youths shortly before 6pm yesterday.

The police are still looking for the agressors who left the scene following the incident.

Detective Sergeant Adrian Bray said: “The incident understandably attracted a lot of attention from members of the public due to the large number of youths involved.

“We are continuing with our enquiries today which involves gathering any possible CCTV from the local area.

“I would like to thank the members of the public who have already contacted police to provide witness statements, which we are continuing to obtain.”
