DETECTIVES are still on the trail of the youths thought to be responsible for slashing a teen across the head.
The 15-year-old boy was part of a group set upon by a larger gang of youths on Friday night in Stratton.
Locals said the larger group had yelled insults before attacking the others.
Trails of blood left dripping on a doorstep of a Swindon Road house hinted at the violence that took place in the areas shortly before 6pm on Friday, May 18.
Yesterday, Wiltshire Police said there were yet to be any arrests made and detectives were continuing to work on the case.
Appealing for witnesses over the weekend, Det Sgt Adrian Bray of Swindon CID said: “This incident understandably attracted a lot of attention from members of the public due to the large number of youths involved."
Anyone who saw the incident should call Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111
