POLICE scored a large haul of what is believed to be cocaine after officers tailed a VW through Wiltshire.
The plain clothes officers had followed the Volkswagen Passat out of Chippenham along the A4 towards Corsham on Monday night after tip-offs about drug dealing in the area.
They pulled the car over, finding a large quantity of cash, a mobile phone and 45 clear snap bags containing a white powder believed to be cocaine.
That led them to a home in Corston, Bath, where officers found more white powder - believed to be Class A drugs - a Taser and a knuckle duster. They also seized a silver Mercedes.
A 31-year-old Bath man, who had been driving the VW, has been arrested on suspicion of dealing Class A drugs.
PC James Isaac said: "This arrest and the seizure of a significant quantity of items believed to be related to the supply of Class A drugs, has directly come from intelligence from the local community.
"We are constantly asking the public to help us by telling us about their concerns and suspicions relating to drug dealing."
