IMMIGRATION enforcement officers raided a Swindon car wash.
The Home Office said four men were found at Swift Car Wash and Valet, Westcott Place, were found to have no permission to work.
A government spokesman said: "The men - two 20-year-old from Iran and Iraq, a 27-year-old Syrian and a 23-year-old Brazilian - were escorted from the premises and must report regularly to the Home Office while their cases are dealt with.
The Iranian, Iraqi and Syrian had all entered the UK illegally, while the Brazilian was working in breach of his visit visa."
Swift Car Wash and Valet was served with a penalty notice, warning that a fine of up to £20,000 for each of the four workers would be imposed unless the company could demonstrate that the correct document checks were carried out, such as checking the men's passports or Home Office documents. The raid took place on Tuesday, May 21.
