A GIRL who robbed a woman of £7 at knifepoint is also said to have told another woman she would burn down a hairdressing salon with her inside it.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been remanded in custody for a sentencing hearing on June 13.

She has pleaded guilty to 11 charges, including robbery, witness intimidation, possession of knives and criminal damage. She also faces a tenth charge, that of assault by beating.

All of the charges relate to a five week period between March 13 and April 18 this year.

According to one charge, to which the Devizes girl pleaded guilty, she threatened to burn down a Salisbury hair salon with the owner still inside. A month later, on April 18, she robbed a woman of £7 at the point of a kitchen knife.

  • March 13, 2019: Damaged Elm Church wall, Salisbury
  • March 13, 2019: Intimidating two witnesses "intending thereby to cause the investigation to be obstructed, perverted or interfered with"
  • March 27, 2019: Threatening a witness
  • March 27, 2019: Threatening a woman "that you would burn down a hair dressing salon with her inside it belonging to her, intending that she would fear that the threat would be carried out"
  • March 27, 2019: Sent text messages conveying false information to a woman with the purpose of causing distress or anxiety
  • March 29, 2019: Assaulting an emergency worker in Melksham
  • April 4, 2019: Assaulted a woman by beating in Devizes
  • April 5, 2019: Damaged an unmarked police car in Devizes
  • April 10, 2019: Damaged a hair salon window in Salisbury
  • April 10, 2019: Possession of a bladed article (scissors)
  • April 18, 2019: Robbery in Devizes
  • April 18, 2019: Possession of bladed article in New Park Street, Devizes (kitchen knife)

She is due to appear before Salisbury Magistrates' Court on June 13.
