BRITAIN marked the 50th anniversary of the Coronation this week in 2003.
Among the relative few who felt moved to celebrate was a woman from Swindon who had been made Coronation Queen at a street party all those years ago.
Other stories included two about celebrities. One was a visiting TV vet and the other a local pastor who aimed to win viewers - and souls - with his own satellite and cable show.
We also wrote about a magician who had lost his sight but not his determination to perform his routine.
