Witness appeal
CALNE: A gardener had a mobile phone stolen when they left it on their front door step while gardening. The incident took place on Saturday, May 25, at 1.30pm in Lake View.
Presents stolen
CALNE: Wedding presents, vinyl , DJ equipment and sentimental items have been stolen. A thief broke into a Vauxhall Astra van in Anchor Road overnight of Bank Holiday Monday, May 27.
Trailer taken
CHERHILL: Robbers have broken into a secured field and removed an IFOR Williams 14ft flatbed trailer worth approximately £2,000. The theft took place overnight of May 29.
Car scratched
CALNE: A grey Audi A3 car parked in Lickhill Road has been scratched from front to back on the passenger’s side. The incident took place overnight on Sunday, May 30.
Tortoise stolen
CORSHAM: A Herman tortoise has been stolen from a garden in Ivy Field. The tortoise is very large and over 80 years old and worth about £400. The theft was on May 31 between 11am and 1pm. Police said the tortoise was very large and would not have been able to escape.
