A BODY has been found earlier today in Savernake Forest in the search for missing man Robert Dunn.

Formal identification is yet to take place, but the family of Mr Dunn has been informed of the news.

The 30-year-old man was last seen by his family in the Marlborough area on May 29.

And a van which he had been renting has been found near Savernake Forest.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “There is nothing to suggest any suspicious circumstances at this time.

“Our thoughts are with Mr Dunn’s family and friends at this very sad time and we would ask people respect their privacy.

“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeals for information and the 200 volunteers, including Lowland Search and Rescue, Serve On, Support2Ops, Raynet, Wessex 4X4 and Rapid Relief team, who assisted with the joint searches over the past week.”
