Councillors interested in Swindon's economy will be discussing the work of the council's Honda working group next week.
The local authority's cabinet member advisory group was set up earlier this year after the Japanese car firm announced its intention of closing its South Marston plant in 2021.
Led by the cabinet member for economy and place Oliver Donachie, the group has worked with unions and government to try and keep the plant open.
Now the company has re-iterated it's intentions to move out of Swindon, the group continues, looking at how best to soften the blow.
Coun Donachie will give a verbal report to the council's growing the economy overview and scrutiny committee next week.
Other presentations will include a briefing on the use of public space protection orders, which can be used to rule against specific nuisances in open areas - such as drinking in streets or in parks, or banning dogs not on leads from certain areas.
The meeting starts at 6pm on June 9.
