COTSWOLDS police joked their Swindon suspect was at a disadvantage in a chase through Cirencester as he was “toting a stolen TV”.
Officers took to Twitter to post about the foot chase through the Gloucestershire town.

Their cop won “of course”, Cotswolds Police said: “To be fair his quarry was at a disadvantage, toting a stolen TV from Tesco.”
The television was recovered. A Swindon man has been summoned to appear before the courts, police said.
