A CROWD of schoolchildren squealed with delight as a police motorcyclist pulled over and danced for them.

The heartwarming display happened in West Oxfordshire today during the OVO Energy Women’s Tour, Britain’s longest-running professional women’s cycling race, Adver sister paper the Oxford Mail reported.

Pupils were eagerly awaiting the arrival of cyclists in Main Road, Alvescot, when one of the officers leading the pack passed through to check the route was safe.

A video filmed by spectator Alex Oates shows the motorcyclist slowing down to ride past the children while giving them high fives, then stopping completely and dismounting.

He or she then performs viral dance moves including the dab, floss and the "hype" dance from popular video game Fortnite, as children shriek with laughter in response and amused policemen and teachers watch on.
