Dads and grandads can celebrate Father’s Day with free entry to STEAM this weekend.
Visitors can check out the museum’s new exhibitions, World’s Fastest and Time on Trial and get up close with iconic locomotives.
And they can can jump aboard the museum’s steam train simulator and test their skills in the interactive GWR Signal Box as they travel through STEAM.
Tonight, dads can go to the museum’s Meet the Railway Workers event to hear anecdotes from knowledgeable volunteers, and be able to step on to the footplate of No. 4073 Caerphilly Castle, No. 3717 City of Truro and No. 6000 King George V.
The offer is valid today and tomorrow. One dad (or grandad) goes free with one full-paying adult or child. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
