TRAINSPOTTERS lined the tracks by Swindon station this morning for a glimpse of iconic locomotive the Flying Scotsman.
The famous engine, built in the 1920s for the London North Eastern Railway, passed through the town at around 10am on Saturday.
Ron Selby, 83, from Cricklade, used to take the train with his Scottish-born wife when she travelled north: “It was smashing. It’s a special train.”
Adver photographer Dave Cox snapped these pictures at Swindon station.
