POLICE are searching for the driver who fled the scene of a crash near Coate Water.

Officers were called at 9.30am this morning to reports of a smash involving a black Ford Mondeo and a black Honda CR-V on Marlborough Road by the Coate roundabout.

One person received minor injuries.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “One of the drivers left the scene and our enquiries are ongoing to locate him.”
