New members elected to Swindon Borough Council in May will be getting some essential training next week.
The seven members, six Conservatives and one Labour have been invited to a special training session on skills and effective models for new councillors.
The newly elected councillors are Nick Burns-Howell who represents Old Town, Steve Heyes, in St Andrews, Oladapo Ibitoye in Penhill and Upper Stratton, Robert Jandy in St Margaret and South Marston, Jenny Jefferies in Chiseldon and Lawn and Vinay Manro in Priory Vale for the ruling Conservatives.
The only new Labour member to win a seat in the May 2 elections was Adorabelle Shaikh in Central ward.
The 90 minute session will be held at Euclid Street on Tuesday June 25.
