Swindon Advertiser:

“We met the organisers, Graham and Debra, and offered to provide our mobile stage unit as an opportunity to profile local talent, something the station is very keen to support.

“I had the task of encouraging artists to come forward and, after a difficult job, a running order has been put together featuring solos, duos and bands.

“It’s giving many of our artists the chance to perform at a festival for the first time, so it’s exciting all round," she told the Adver.

“We are also giving each of the artists pre-event interviews on air, further promoting themselves and the festival.”

The first act on the local stage, Kerenza Clements, goes on at 11am and the acts will continue until 5pm when Oxymora will close the stage.

But that’s not all, the festival itself will continue to 10.30pm, allowing revellers to enjoy the entertainment long into the night.

MFor Festival organisers, Graham Stobbs and Debra Collins, added: “We want this event to be at the heart of the community and are proud to support a huge range of local talent.

“We are also really pleased to have developed a relationship with Swindon 105.5, who have been most supportive.”
