THE Sensational 60s Experience has announced a Swindon date on its 10th anniversary tour.

Featuring members of bands whose his include Needles and Pins, Silence Is Golden, Hippy Hippy Shake and Little Children, the show comes to the Wyvern Theatre on Sunday November 3.

The evening is billed as a three-hour 1960s spectacular of pure nostalgia, and ideal for people of all ages, whether they remember the tracks from the first time around or want to hear their parents’ and grandparents’ record collections live on stage.

Stars include Mike Pender, pictured, who was one of the founders of The Searchers.

The band, whose hits included When You Walk in the Room, Needles and Pins and Don’t Throw Your Love Away, was a part of the Merseybeat movement spearheaded by the Beatles.

The Sensational 60s Experience also features The Fortunes, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Dakotas and The Trems. The latter are all former members of The Tremeloes, whose best-known tracks included Do You Love Me and I Can Dance.
