HEAVY rain is set to hit Swindon at approximately 9-10pm tonight.
The Met office has issued a yellow warning until tomorrow, with a risk of thunderstorms in the region.
Met office said on their website: “There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.
“There is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life.
“Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.”

But temperatures are expected to reach 23C this afternoon and will stay above 20C throughout the day.
Temperatures will peak at 29C forecast this Friday.
The warning will be moving south east on Tuesday.
