FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man on the roof of a premises in West Swindon.
Crews from Westlea, Stratton, Chippenham and Trowbridge Fire station rushed to Whitehill Way following a report of a casualty on the roof of a 20m high building.
The man was being cared for by South West Ambulance Service.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: “The technical rescue teams and officer were stood down en route and the casualty was rescue to the ground floor using the aerial appliance, scoop stretcher and basket stretcher.”
The casualty was left in the care of paramedics.
