Families in Swindon are being asked to help the council understand their childcare needs.
Swindon Borough Council is working with national early year and childcare consultancy Hempsall’s with a view to making sure the future provision of early years education and childcare places meets demand, where possible.
Parents with children aged up to 14, or those with a disabled child aged up to 18, are being asked to complete a survey, which is online until August 31.
Councillor Russell Holland, cabinet member for commercialisation and education and skills, said: “This survey will help us to paint a picture of what the needs are for a range of families in Swindon, whether that’s breakfast clubs or childminding services.
“I’d encourage all parents to take the time to fill out the short survey to give us an insight into what would work for them so we can strive to accommodate these needs.”
