A man who stole £10,000-worth of premium goods from Cotswold Outdoor has been ordered to pay back two thirds in compensation.

Between May and November last year, Nicholas Gregory, 25, of Barnsley, Cirencester, took Garmin watches, Land Rover phones, shoes and jackets from Cotswold Outdoor at Kemble Business Park.

Gregory pleaded guilty to theft.

Swindon magistrates made a 12 month community order, telling him to complete 120 hours’ unpaid work, 15 rehabilitation activity days, £6,000 compensation, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
