A POLISH deli is expanding after outgrowing its cosy Havelock Square home.
Delikatesy Smaczk has been a popular place for the town’s Polish community over the last six years but is so crammed with imported feasts that staff decided to move into a bigger unit.
Manager Marta Dominiak said: “We are too cramped here now. This shop is so popular we have decided to open a new, much larger shop.
“We have just got the keys and the shop fitting has started. It’s going to be great. We employ ten people in this shop but will be taking on another five people for the bigger store.”
The small and well-stocked shop sells fresh meats, cheeses, dairy products and cakes as well as groceries and toiletries.
From September, Delikatesy Smaczek will be at the bottom of The Crossing’s escalator, opposite Lush.
