Swindon College has been awarded a silver rating following a higher education assessment.
The Teaching Excellent Framework (TEF) assessment managed by the Office of Students, granted the award after measuring teaching, learning and student outcomes and the delivery of each area to students.
The TEF was introduced by the Government, to build evidence about the performance of the UK’s higher education sector.
Receiving a silver award illustrates the College is seen as a high quality education provider surpassing rigorous national quality requirements for higher education.
Vice Principle Quality, Lynne Plested said: "We are delighted to have achieved this award following the assessment. The student experience and the outcomes are at the heart of everything we do at the college and are always central to all of the decisions we make.
"This award confirms that the work of teaching staff and students is of high quality and that we meet and exceed the TEF and national measures.
"We will continue to develop our teaching quality and develop a programme of excellence to further enhance the experience of our students.”
