WROUGHTON’s Secret Gardens will be putting on a treasure hunt for the children this weekend.

They will get to snoop behind hedges and fences to find what treasure is hiding in the gardens.

Plants and produce will be on sale, with tea for little breaks and a chance to talk to the garden owners.

The little ones just need to collect a golden pebble and will then need to claim their prize.

This event will help to raise money for the charity ‘Vision 4 Wroughton’, ran by the District Gardeners Society.

Children can go the event for free that will be on both Saturday and Sunday between 2pm and 5pm.

You can collect a map from multiple locations including: Coventry Farm Stores, McColls, Co-op and the Parish Council office to help you guide you the way around.

While you and the little ones tour the gardens, you will be able to see scarecrows. This year’s theme is ‘sports personalities’ with twenty-five scarecrows dotted around the village which will be viewed and judged over the next two weeks.
