POLICE arrested two men from Swindon after an incident in a Chippenham supermarket led to a high-speed chase across the county.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "A 24-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of affray and a 42-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and drug driving.
"They were taken to Gablecross custody and have both been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out."
Two men were seen making threats to members of the public and staff in the alcohol section of the Sainsbury's in Chippenham at around 6.30pm on July 8.
The pair drove off in a silver coloured car as Sainsbury's staff called police to report the incident and give descriptions of the men.
Officers then spotted the suspect's vehicle heading towards Marlborough and a high speed chase took place at 9.30pm.
The vehicle was eventually cornered by police in Market Place, Marlborough.
