A 30-year-old man from Nottingham has been arrested in connection to the stabbings in Old Town on Monday night.
The man, who was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, in the Nottingham area and is currently being held at Gablecross Police Station.
On Monday night two men arrived at the Great Western Hospital suffering from stab and slash wounds.
Despite arriving separately, police now believe that they were injured in the same assault.
Both victims have since been discharged from hospital.
