What time does the show start and finish?

The showground is open from Friday July 19 until Sunday July 21. On the weekend, it's open from 7.30am to 7.30pm with displays starting at 10am and finishing at 5.30pm. Friday is a preview day with four hours of displays from 11am though the showground will be open from 7.30am to 6.30pm.

When can I see the Red Arrow displays?

The Red Arrows will be doing a fly-by every day for their last UK show of 2019 (exact timings TBC).

Plus, a British Airways Boeing 747, painted in its iconic British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) livery, will perform a dramatic flypast with the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team on Saturday.

What are the other aircraft on display?

This year features more than 30 air arms from over 20 different nations, which means the Air Tattoo is the best place to see military aircraft on display to the public. Confirmed aircraft includes two Spanish Navy Harriers, the Ukrainian Su-27, US Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team, Frecce Tricolori, and RAF F-35B Lightning.

What’s the best day to go on?

Astronaut Major Tim Peake will be at the airshow on Friday in the Techno Zone as part of this year's Air and Space theme to inspire the next generation of the air force and space industry.

He will be interviewed by Carol Vorderman in the Bader Marquee at 9.30am. The Techno Zone will have an array of space-themed displays and attractions throughout the weekend

A flypast celebrating the 70th anniversary of NATO is planned for Friday and Saturday - the only official NATO flypast taking place at a UK airshow this summer. Saturday's tickets are sold out, so if you haven't booked a ticket yet, Friday will be your only chance to see it.

The flypast will include three RAF Typhoons, a NATO E-3 AWACS, three Belgian and Dutch F-16s, a German A400M, a German EF2000, a German Tornado, a French KC-135R and three American F-15s.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are not for sale at the gates and need to be purchased through the air tattoo website or over the phone. Standard tickets cost £55 per day and £59 with a return for the Swindon shuttle bus. Ticket holders need to print out the e-ticket from the email and present this at the gate. Under-18s go for free if accompanied with an adult.

Where do I park and how much is it?

Parking is free for ticket holders and the car parks open from 6am from Friday to Sunday. You can leave and comeback to the showground up until 5pm.

Can I get dropped off at the show?

There will be a one-way system in place making it difficult to drop off and pick up people from the Air Tattoo. Passengers are being asked to be dropped off at Swindon bus station and get the shuttle bus from there.

I can’t make this year’s Air Tattoo but don’t want to miss out on the action?

The Air Tattoo has team up with PlanesTV.com to provide a life steam service to show the displays each day and replays of the best of the flying. There will be a flying schedule available each morning so you can plan your viewing and on demand replay of the broadcast up to seven days after.

Can I bring a picnic?

Visitors are welcome to bring blankets, fold away chairs and picnics, which can be left at the Drop Zone in the Blue Service Station.

What access is there for people with disabilities?

There will be disabled/accessible toilets in each toilet block on the showground and in the disabled enclosure. The disabled enclosure will allow visitors to watch the show from the crowd line and will be In the Blue Zone on the map. Tickets must be purchased in advance and cost £8. Where do I park if I’m disabled?

Disabled visitors with a Blue Badge can apply for a RIAT Disabled Parking Permit to park in the designated car parks in the red or green designated disabled car parks. There is no disabled car park in the Blue car parks which are some distance from the blue customer entrance.

Disabled visitors arriving by car and displaying a Blue Badge but no permit will be directed to the front of each public car park where a designated parking space which could be on grass and some distance from the entrance.
