A NEW interactive film aims to highlighting everyday problems that can affect men’s mental wellbeing.

Filming has started on a production by Men’s Mental Health Swindon which features four men with different careers sitting down with one other for the first time talking about their struggles over a cup of coffee.

Champion boxer Luke Watkins, former Army officer Olly Church, Jon Holloway of Swindon Town Football in the Community and TV presenter Johnathan Wilks will all appear.

Alex Pollock, co-founder of the organisation, told the Adver: “People are realising that whatever they have there are more support systems out there, whether that’s in here or IPSUM.”

IPSUM is a mental health and wellbeing charity in Swindon which helps anyone who needs support.

Alex said: “I want to get the message across that its okay to be feeling that way.

“I have had people stop me in the street to tell me how they are feeling, which was strange to begin with, but now it’s powerful.

“It’s a really humbling experience. I like the idea of making an impactful impression.”
