STUDENTS from Swindon secondary schools learned about at the opportunities available at McDonald's.
The Cockleberry branch of the fast food outlet hosted 250 students and franchisee Carl Room gave them a tour of the restaurant.
Mr Room said: “I’m pleased we’ve been able to host another of our annual open days.
"It’s important we educate young people on how we operate as a business and its great to be able to give them a taste of what working life is like at McDonalds.
"McDonald’s benefits from employing people at different stages in their working lives, including young people who are looking for their first taste of work."
Mr Room then gave a talk to the young people about the day-to-day running of the business.
Deputy mayor and ward councillor Kevin Parry tagged along.
The students received exclusive insights into how staff serve its many customers and keep the business running.
The restaurant’s business managers and supervisors took the students round the restaurant and answered any questions they had.
