A PARK South man has been charged with GBH after he allegedly attacked a woman on Monday.

Ricky Wilding appeared before Swindon Magistrates’ Court yesterday, where he indicated no plea to the charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

The 22-year-old, of Leighton Avenue, Park South, did not enter pleas to charges he beat another woman, used violence to secure entry to a home in Kennedy Drive, Eldene, and drove a motorcycle dangerously from Coate Water roundabout to Eldene Drive. The charges all relate to events on July 15.

Heavily tattooed Wilding spoke only to confirm his details and pleas as he appeared in the Swindon dock.

Wilding admitted separate charges of breaching a restraining order on four occasions between January and March this year. The order bans him from contacting an ex-girlfriend. Wilding also pleaded guilty to assaulting the woman, admitting he had shoved her to the ground during an argument in the car park at Greenbridge Retail Park in February.

JPs remanded Wilding in custody to appear before the crown court on August 16.
