A SWINDON man was arrested after police were called to reports of men scrapping over a VW Golf and a Mitsubishi pick-up truck.
The 41-year-old was arrested on suspicion of motor vehicle theft together with a Malmesbury man, 52. They remain in police custody.
Now, officers want to speak to anyone who saw the altercation near the village High Street at 3pm on Saturday - or spotted the brown pick-up towing the white VW Golf before it was stopped.
Sgt Katharine Smith of Wiltshire Police said: "It was a sunny day in the centre of the village and lots of people would have been out so I believe someone would have seen something.
"We would especially like to hear from anyone who saw the vehicles being driven."
