A MAN has appeared before magistrates charged with trying to smuggle eight kilos of crystal meth into the country.
David Morrish, 48, of Carnival Close, Malmesbury, pleaded not guilty to a charge of being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class A drug jointly with his wife Paola.
He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on August 28.
