A ROAD has been closed while emergency repairs to sewers are carried out in Wroughton.
Swindon Road has been shut near the Grange housing development, between Prospect Hospice and Croft Road.
This is for repairs to the sewage drains for the nearby housing development.
In a statement Thames Water said: “Carrying out this work is essential to ensuring the damaged sewer does not flood nearby properties and damage the environment.
“We’re sorry to anyone who will be impacted by the temporary road closure but it’s necessary to ensure the work can be carried out safely.”
