THIS is the full list of recounted results for Highworth's local election ballots.

These results are provisional and the changes they signify will not come into effect until the High Court makes them official.

Campaigners who crowdfunded the recount petition hope that this will happen before the first full Highworth Town Council meeting on September 2 but a date for the High Court session has not yet been set.

Vote counters filled court six of Swindon Magistrates Court yesterday and spent just over an hour tallying up the ballots while councillors and candidates looked on.

The ballots had been kept sealed since election night in May until a district judge gave permission for them to be unsealed and recounted.

The following list compares the old and new vote counts for each candidate as well as indicating if this difference changes who has won a seat on the town council.

They are in order of most votes received according to the corrected recount.
