Expansion is on the horizon for a Swindon-based creative agency which is now under new ownership.

Joy Lunn fulfilled a career ambition by buying Lundie Marketing Services and immediately re-branding it to The Lunn Agency.

She plans to open a new office in Leicester to expand the company into the Midlands and support two major clients in that region while strengthening the Swindon office with increased capabilities.

She said: “I was looking to start my own agency and it seemed like the right opportunity, as Lundie provided a ready-made business with considerable potential.”

“The agency has a good client base of long-standing clients predominantly in the business-to-business sector and a number of trade federations and associations.

“It has an excellent reputation for creative, marketing communications solutions."

Ms Lunn originally worked for Lundie 12 years ago in an account direction and business development role then later re-joined the business in a key leadership role before taking the company over entirely.

The office based in Swindon will continue as the hub of the business during this expansion. Other plans in the pipeline include the appointment of an experienced account manager within the next six months and the introduction of increased digital capability.

Joy will oversee a business with a solid existing client base and a team of three full time design staff – a senior and junior designer, plus a web and digital specialist.

She added: “I am hugely excited to be working on the current Lundie business and providing an enhanced creative and client service offering.

"I'm also developing new opportunities and building a new agency with an impressive client portfolio through a talented and committed team.

“Outstanding creative work is key in elevating a company, brand or federation, and we are well-placed to deliver that.”

Joy’s lifelong career in advertising and marketing agencies has seen her work with major UK and international clients in strategic planning and creative director roles within the business-to-consumer, retail, business-to-business and trade federation and association sectors.
